The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bemys Foundation, Quadrant Chief,( Dr) Mrs. Mercy Eguriase Sule and other executive members of Urhobo Progressive Union, Ireland chapter yesterday, 14th October 2021, paid a familiarisation visit to the Nigerian Ambassador to Ireland, H.E Mrs. Obiezu Ijeima Chinonyrem.
Bemys who doubles as a diaspora ambassador, while speaking, emphasised the need for a continuous robust relationship between the Union and the commission, noting that such could enhance migration gains to Urhobo sons and daughters.
Speaking further, Dr. Mercy narrated how the Urhobo Progressive Union has been helping members who are struggling with immigration problems via Irish Immigration laws, pleading the equitable conscious of the Ambassador to always help where necessary
She described the Honourable Ambassador as a woman who has well represented the policies and interest of Nigeria, disclosing that her humility is second to non despite occupying a high ranking diplomatic position
Dr. Mercy, revealed that she is a woman of inestimable value, who is an action oriented person, building mutual understanding and supports the policy system of our great nation
Reemphasizing the need for ehnaced relationship, the President of the Urhobo Progressive Union, UPU, Ireland Chapter, Chief, Dr. Richard Iyede, also thanked the ambassador for finding time out of her busy schedule to receive them, just as he prayed God to give her more strength to continue giving her best.
Summing up the familiarisation discussion, Princess Uremu Adejinmi, a Princess of Agbon Kingdom who doubles as a lord Mayor in Ireland appreciated Mrs Obiezu, for a warmth reception, noting that, it was a sign of kind heartedness
Reacting to the UPU visitation, Mrs. Ijeima reiterated her continuous support to Nigerians in Ireland, noting that a lot can be achieved via a robust relationship, just as she urged Nigerians over there to be law abiding, as well as been good ambassadors of their country
