A leader is said to have administrative capacity when he is able to display ability in handling situations using the instrumentality of administration as well as galvanising both the human, material and financial resources available to him.

This was the description of a noble and technocratic personality, a diaspora ambassador, and a former Ethiope East House of Assembly Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the last 2019 general elections, Olorogun Mrs Mercy Eguriase Sule, to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Nigeria, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa

Mercy, who made the description in a recent telephone chat with News men, noted that Okowa’s forceful and proactiveness in handling issues is worthy of emulation while also using the impending flood sensitisation as a case in point.

She further emphasized that the prediction of the Nigerian Hydrological Agency, NHA, of the impending flood in most parts of the country including Delta State, has made Governor Okowa not to relent in sensitising people, just as she applauded the State Orientation Bureau for densely upholding her mandate within the premise of one to one engagement, which is Orientation.

The diaspora ambassador, therefore, urged Deltans to support government efforts just as she used the opportunity to thank the team of the State Orientation Bureau for their tenacious advocacy on the participating flood, cultism and other related issues.

Summarising her emphasis, the Urhobo born philanthropist noted that even in far away Ireland where she resides, that she has been hearing, watching the proactive tendencies of the Government while using this opportunity to call on the people of Delta State for their continuous support to the government to mitigate against the impending flood.
